Holiday Crafts
There's nothing quite like a hot chocolate and craft time when it's chilly outside. If you are looking for some fun, easy ideas, here are a few of our favourites. These were all made by young children!
Glitter Ornament
This one is so easy, but so pretty. You can purchase clear plastic ornaments from most craft stores.

Start by pouring white glue in to the ornament and swirl it around to coat the inside.

Pick your glitter of choices and sprinkle it in and let it dry.

You can try mixing colours, or using markers on the outside too.
Puffy Polar Bear
A great craft for our littlest ones.

Start by drawing the shape and gathering the nose and eyes.

Add glue to the paper and puff up your animal with cotton wall balls.

Add the rest of the face.

This also works well with penguin bellies!
Finger Print Lights
Perfect for creating cards, or even gift wrap on a small gift.

Start by drawing the string.

Go ahead and use fingers to creates the colourful lights.

You can add glitter for some extra sparkle.
Photo Trees
These make great family gifts, tags or ornaments.

You'll need three popsicle sticks, either already green or coloured green and some decorations.

Use glue to create you triangle and decorate.

One you have your photo in place, cut a piece of paper in to a triangle to place over the back to hide any mess and protect the back of your craft.
Reindeer Wreaths
You can pick up wreaths from crafts stores, or make your own with paper.

Take your wreath and decorate it with any supplies you like.

Place the wreath on paper and use family fingers to create reindeer heads.

Use a marker to add antlers and a face.

This is a great way to create a whole family keepsake. Put the year on the back.
